Brilliant compact speaker
Great sound from such a small speaker, which is probably down to the solid and weighty construction. The wi-fi connects to all my devices with no problem, unlike some others. It is a replacement for my very expensive speaker, which was giving me all sorts of grief..
The controls are simple and the aux in and charging point were a good thought. I purchased this at the time for the price because I didn't want to spend a great deal of money, but it's a little cracker!
The size and weight of this speaker means I can take it up to the gym (spare bedroom) for my daily session on the excercise bike.
OK speaker at a decent price
The speaker works fine. Bluetooth connectivity was slick, and wired connectivity works ok too. A couple of annoying features: despite having lights to indicate power and Bluetooth mode, the speaker also announces "power on", "Bluetooth mode" etc via a loud electronic voice - unnecessary.
Also (this may be a function of Bluetooth, and may apply to all Bluetooth speakers), I had a requirement to set the volume very precisely on a scale of zero to 100. But the speaker works to different steps - anything less than 5 is ignored, and 8 would be treated as 5. This would probably not be a problem for most.
Dreadful
Rubbish product and certainly not worth the price I paid. The sound quality is OK but it doesn't play very loudly even on the highest volume setting. The product I purchased seemed to be faulty as it kept just turning off mud song and then I'd have to turn it back on only to have it switch of on me again. It fully charged the first night I bought it and then it never charged again. 😒 Returned it for a full and easy refund to Argos' credit. Spent the exact same amount on a Tribit portable speaker and it is fantastic.
Good but not as described
Ordering & collecting from my local Argos store was very straightforward. The speaker works well over a bluetooth connection, but I bought it because it was also supposed to connect via cable to non-bluetooth devices. This feature doesn't work. When I tried it, the speaker just switched off. Had I known this I would have ordered something else as I don't need the wireless mobile charging facility.
Does the job as a satisfactory measure
Ok not the best of sounds but its still brilliant and ideal the sound is louder than my s10 and it's more clear also . The other good thing it last long but the best feature is the device can be used as a stand to view or listen to your phone and it wirelessly charges your phone also. Can't go wrong with this price. I am knocking one star off from maximum because sound could of been better.
Rubbish speaker
The speaker was bought yo plug into our tv via the jack connection. Firstly it did not recognise the connection as it was supposed to say it was connected via auxiliary. Then although the speaker worked it would power off/power on incessantly after 5 minutes. So although this may have been a fault I have to say not worth the bother. Returned gor a refund with no issues.

Bought this to go with a projector to take away on camping trips. Cinema under the stars kind of thing. Speaker is great for charging phone or watching YouTube clips but the sound quality is very poor when turned up and barely audible when set lower or medium. Useful as a charger. Not really useful as a loud speaker but in a small room like a bathroom it would be fine.
One major problem
I found the stereo sound out the speaker quite surprising for its price, the charging works perfectly fine but when you use the aux input it powers off after 5 minutes even when playing music which rendered it useless for me so I returned for a full refund . If all you want is Bluetooth and charging then it’s fine but aux input function is useless

I've had this speaker for 6 months and it's still functioning like it's just a day old. Great sound production, easy to use and good battery capacity lasting about 18 hours. I practically charge it about once a week and I use it daily and sometimes over 3 hours per use. Great speaker for an unbelievable low price, supports wireless charging too.
Worth every penny
I use this in my car for the blue tooth connectivity and to charge my iPhone while on the move. It functions flawlessly for both. With regard to sound quality it’s no Bose but does the job pretty well with fair loudness and clarity although it has some bass it could be better, but for money it’s excellent.

Bought this at the beginning of April… by the end of April it wouldn’t even turn on and it was only used twice. Really cheap quality, seriously avoid at all costs. Can’t return it as I binned all the packaging the day I bought it so basically wasted the money in an item that doesn’t work. Absolute rubbish
Stopped working after 6 weeks
Stopped connecting to bluetooth initially. Even though fully charged, when disconnected from USB - it loses power so cannot be portable. Essentially useless. Argos refuse to support me (on webchat), say it doesn't have a manufacturer's warranty so need to just "throw it away".

A lovely product idea to be able to listen to music while charging my phone. But unfortunately the charger is to slow and takes to long to full y charge so times over 24 Hrs. Furthermore, for reasons I do not yet understand. The speaker sound stopped working after 4 weeks.

Seemed absolutely brilliant, love the design. Sadly the Bluetooth function stopped working literally after one day, the only thing that still worked was the charge. Argos took it back without packaging, no quibbles so I’m happy there but it shouldn’t be on the market
Used in our motorhome
We've been using this for 2 weeks while away in our motorhome (France). Sounds quality is good and battery lasts. Not audiophile quality, but you don't expect that at this price. Recommend. Only issue is that it takes a little bit of work swapping between phones.

It's a decent speaker that gives great sound. Not a bad one to start with either. Connectivity is decent it could be better by not dis connecting when there's nothing being played but u win and lose I guess. Overall decent purchase for the price it's worth it.
Useless for max pro
This speaker is no good for a phone bigger then a 5.8 screen as the wireless charging will not connect with anything bigger, I did connect to the Bluetooth just to try the speaker and found it very tinney so returned it as it didn’t do what it said on the box.

I’m very happy with this speaker, I need a basic speaker that works whilst I need it to. It does that, I charge it up for an hour or so, then let it run for up to six hours each day. It also wirelessly charges my phone and I’ve had no problem with it so far 😊
