I brought this to replace a large chest freezer which had given 27 years of service, but I was tired of leaning into it to find what was at the base!! So I was aware this wouldn't feel as spacious, but I would be able to arrange it more! Loved the idea of an ice drawer- no more plastic bags of ice needed... but never saw a photo of it on any website, or I would have realised it was a flat drawer resting on top of one of the other drawers and so that drawer has less height available to store items.. I also initially thought I'd been delivered the wrong fridge... the delivery men emphasised I shouldn't open it for 4 hours so it could settle, so I couldn't open it to check it was the correct freezer (a 'name' of freezer outside would be helpful!).When I did open it, I couldn't find this ice drawer at arm height as had been implied in one description and was going to ring the customer helpline, but before I did I decided to look through all the other drawers, and found it in a low drawer with instruction book, and the ice tray, then realised that it balances onto of a shelf rather than being a separate fixed drawer. I must say that the Ice cubes slip out like magic -Ive never known such easy dispensing, and the drawer can of course be used for any other ice cubes you've made and put into it. It also means if you dont want ice then this whole drawer could easily be removed. The plastic of the drawers looks quite fragile, but have held out for this first month without difficulty.. The top section opens from the bottom, the next opens from top which is disconcerting and being able to change it easily might be preferred by some. In my naiivety, I hadn't realised that the base drawer would only be half depth- due to the motor being at base and rear.. my f-i-l has told me that this is usual, but I wasn't expecting it as no write up had mentioned it, and I hadn't been able to view freezers in person due to the pandemic.... I was surprised that many companies would offer a door swapping left to right service, (understandable for an extra cost) and Argos didn't, but this worked out all right for me.
I did find the side of the door opened wasn't always clear on descriptions, and even when a Q and A site was reviewed, it was a bit bizarre- 'door hinged on left' would be clearer explanation than it 'opens left to right' (but this may not have been the ARGOS site, I looked at so many, including the manufacturers own site).
I do like the way the drawers can all balance at an angle so you can look into them, that feels very helpful. Very nice that there is a matching fridge which I also wanted!
Quality competitively priced freezer
We needed a larger freezer than the one we had and this had the storage capacity to match our requirements , the draws are a good size and come with clear fronts making it easier to find the item required . The freezer is suitable for outbuildings and ours in in a concrete sectional garage it has been in use now for nearly 2 months and so far there has been no sign of condensation on the outside . It took a couple of attempts to get the temperature right after buying a freezer thermostat as the freezer does not come with a temperature gauge but overhaul I am very pleased with my purchase .
Made for the job freezer
Bought this recently, looks good , nice clean lines. Looks and feels sturdy enough.
Time will Tell if the drawers and compartment doors last but seem better than our hoover freezer.
Have to be careful not to close door with the the ice compartment down though.
Instructions not great re what light should be showing . And no thermostat to let you know the temp but then I’ve never had that in an appliance. Only mention it as manual refers to actual temps and other than getting a thermometer you can’t know

ALL GOOD Exept Opening the door requires a little force. Not certain if it is the newness of the seals or vacuum. Also, unlike my old freezer I have to properly close the door. My old one closed itself probably due to the way the door was hung.
Apart from these two minor issues this freezer does everything it is supposed to do and it looks good...It is in my garage it is designed to be in an outside building so there should not be any issues with condensation on the outside. So far so good.
Beko Freezer
Delivered on time by two cheery Argos gents to its new home in my garage. Disappointed no instructions. Discovering much later that they had fallen down the back of one of the freezer drawers. Came down to temperature quite quickly and it holds a considerable amount. Temp seems to stay steady , have to check with a freezer thermometer. Could do with an internal light and an external temp display but you get what you pay for. Looking forward to see how it performs over our very cold winters.
Excellent freezer
Freezer holds plenty , including all our Christmas 'extras', for a family of 3. I was worried I would not be able to see in the top shelf as I am only 5 feet tall but the top shelf is just that, a shelf, not a drawer and it opens from the bottom rather than the top meaning I get the best view from my height! The next compartment down is also a shelf, not a drawer, and if you take the partition out between the top 2 compartments you are left with a massive space for your turkey or whatever.

The purchasing and delivery parts were simplicity itself. Easy, quick and efficient.
The delivery was prompt. The freezer itself is a decent enough looking item and there are enough drawers/shelves to allow for certain different items in each drawer or lidded box. Even the door can be changed between left hinge or right hinge. It's clean and easy to keep so overall I'm very pleased with my purchase and buying over the prone with Argos was straightforward and trouble free. A good buy.
Perfect for me
After seeing very differing reviews,I opted for this model.I wanted a frost free freezer that was suitable for an outbuilding.It is quite noisy compared to my old non frost free one. I wouldn't be impressed with the noise that it makes if it was in my kitchen, but as it is in an outbuilding, it doesn't make any difference. I currently have the setting on just under 2 and this keeps food frozen well and freezes fresh food quickly. I am really pleased with this and would recommend.
Beko tall freezer.
Really pleased with item. Previously had chest freezer so was concerned about space but no need there is more than enough space in freezer Five drawers are spacious and overall very user friendly. We did remove top flap and prefer to use top compartment as just a shelf. Also had to reverse door a bit fiddly but managed. Would also advise that we only have on setting 1. Freezer is in outhouse and that is sufficiently cold with all drawers full. Great product very efficient.
It's a freezer. It freezes things.
I was looking for a new freezer. I found a new freezer that I liked. I bought that freezer. Had it two weeks and it hasn't failed me yet, it does what I want it to do, and it fits into the space I had for it. Beyond that.. it freezes things. The door alarm is a bit keen. Useful, but last thing I want if a machine nagging me 'cos the door's been open for more than 5.956475 seconds.
When I can find a way, I'll disconnect that little feature - with extreme prejudice.
cool freezer
A good replacement for a dying freezer. Slightly smaller than old one but unless you see one in the flesh it's difficult to realise what the capacity measurements look like. It reached a really cold temperature very quickly. It could do with a light on the outside so you can see if it's still at a good temperature. There are four settings for freezing and once it's cooled down then it can be left on one of the lower settings. The open door alarm is a good idea.
Perfect Freezer
Having looked long and hard for a frost free replacement for my upright freezer I settled on this one. Firstly, I trust the BEKO name - my Amercan Fridge/Freezer is a BEKO and suits me perfectly. My range cooker is made by a sister company. This freezer was an excellent price and has a large capacity which was important. It is easy to see what you have on the top shelves and the drawers. There is an alarm which will sound if you leave it open too long.
Good Sized Freezer
The drawers slide freely in and out & can easily be removed if desired, revealing glass shelves. This allows for a great deal of flexibility in whether to use the drawers, or just have the shelves in place which gives a bit more space. The 2 pull down flaps can also be easily removed. Would benefit from a temperature display and electronic temperature setting, but unfortunately doesn't have these. It has a door open alarm, which is a very welcome feature.
Good family freezer
We needed a freezer fast as the other one had broken down, Argos delivered quickly and gave all assistance to get it in place, all credit to the delivery crew. Price could have been bit more competitive as I later found it cheaper elsewhere though that was partly my fault as I didn't have much time to shop around. The temp warning alarm when you have the door open is an excellent idea, all in all a good buy which I hope lasts for a few years to come
Very pleased with this product
A nice looking freezer with plenty of room inside. Works perfectly and the door alarm is a good feature. The drawers tilt downward quite alarmingly when pulled out and I thought at first they'd fall out, but there's a notch that holds them in place, so not a problem. The top 2 compartments have flaps, one lifts up, the other down, which are a bit flimsy so may break in time.
Note to Argos - not enough space to give an in-depth review!
Very good value for money
This freezer is to replace a whirlpool that we kept in the garage and died during the panic buying spree.
Argos gave the shortest lead time for the freezer we wanted and this BEKO is designed to be able to be kept in the garage unlike so many now.
Loads of room inside and well laid out, as much as a freezer can be. Not 100% sure on the build quality but seems decent enough for the price, so overall very happy with it.
Loving the extra space and the changeable shelvi .
The delivery guys were very helpful and the freezer was well protected in transit. We have a major refit going on after a burst pipe and I haven't been able to do any more than check that it lights up when it's plugged in. Can't wait to get using it though as I love the new ice cube drawer and the fact that with the new circulated air system means I will no longer had a bag for frozen peas that turns into a brick!

My Beko is the genuine article for shed use. Fantastic storage space, quiet running, great choice of temperature settings, frost free so no worries there and copes beautifully in winter with its cold technology. Not only does it look good but it also performs perfectly. Very easy to change door from one side to the other. Would definitely recommend this product for anyone thinking of getting a garage/shed freezer.
EXCELLENT DEEP FREEZE
Bought this BEKO Freezer to replace a very old Beko Freezer which eventually after many years good service decided to have a rest.
Excellent new features added, Easy to set up. Extremely pleased.
Only slight quibble, I had to change the door opening direction.
The Instruction pictures in the MANUAL are INCORRECT and show a different type of door hanging method.
However it is very easy to work out .
The freezer looks good but ....
They deliver, put it in place, balance it and shoot off. You need the serial number to register it and where is it? On the back! Instructions recommend you buy a thermometer to check the temperature!!!!!! There are different settings and you need to do this for freezing fresh and that for putting in frozen. What a load of nonsense. Last freezer was great. This one is a huge disappointment.
