This small drone was bought for a community group to document development work on a local site undergoing restoration. It has a great camera and is very finely tuned in terms of positioning. It's incredible just how tight the controls are. To give you some idea, I was able to fly it around the kitchen. It's light, however, so doesn't do well in even moderate wind, and can't be used in the rain. Given the Irish climate, that somewhat curtails the occasions when it can be used. But it's a fine piece of kit when it can be taken out. For those who want to get started in this field, you could do a lot worse. My main grumble is the lack of a manual. There is online access to one, which can be downloaded. But for those who prefer something on paper, you will have to print out reams of data to take with you. Whatever happened to basic instruction manuals! The online instructions are a tad convoluted and lack clarity. It may be a problem in translation, and this is found with many instructions for Chinese products. I (we) have the drone for about 2 months, and rely on online forums for solid guidance, which shouldn't be necessary. However, once properly initiated, the user should really enjoy using this drone, and it will provide high quality observations and video.
Impressive piece of equipment
Bought this principally to inspect and monitor house roof condition. Expensive you might think but getting a contractor at £200 a time puts it in perspective. Plus the ability to check any work afterwards (no way I was going up 20-odd feet ladders). Tried a cheap £50 drone which was useless for the task just confirming the adage “ buy cheap and you buy twice”.
This drone is simple to fly and hovers rock steady for detailed inspection and photos/video providing a perfect solution for the required task. Not tried any more sophisticated photography but can imagine it would provide some interesting perspective shots but that is for the future.
Would highly recommend for any beginner.
Good little drone
Only new to drones and I would say this is one of the best beginners drone easy to set up and very easy to fly has 3 modes cinematic normal and sports i started with cinematic to get use to the controls but I would see seagulls love them and will try to swoop them as I found out and needed to use sports more to escape great drone camera is also great. The remote with a screen is a great addition to this drone and you don't need to mess about with your phone I will say buy more batteries or the fly more pack I made the mistake of just getting one battery and they last around 28 mins before being sat at the charger for an hour and half amazing little drone and very easy to use
Great service
Finally got myself a DJI mini 3. Got home, unwrapped and charged battery. Turned everything on, but nothing showing on the remote control screen. Tried numerous times, but to no avail. Decided to return it to the store for a replacement. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and was given another drone. Got home but exactly the same thing! Decided to call DJI service and was advised to either take it
back, send the remote to London for fault diagnosis or take it to an authorised DJI store, which I decided to do. Once there, they had to flash the remote software and everything was fine. By no means was Argos to blame, but I praise the no hassle replacement.
Brilliant starter drone
The mini 3 is amazing, it balances itself easily and flying honestly couldn't be easier. Camera is good quality and has both automatic and manual settings which is beautiful. You can also shoot in RAW 👌. Overall a fab drone but obviously most (if not all) DJIs are. A few things it can't do like tracking features and not the most up to date quick shots but yet again still a very good bit of kit. I would invest in more batteries if you are planning on using it all day though as depending on weather conditions they can drop quickly

I bought this a few weeks ago and it’s great so easy to fly so don’t be worried if your a beginner it is so stable pretty much crash proof in my opinion , camera captures crisp picture and video
Flight time is around 30 minutes before prompted to return home
The Dji rc controller with screen is perfect to much better than usuing your phone to view as you’re flying .
Anything you capture on to your memory card can be insterted into the controller afterwards and transfer your pictures and videos over to your phone with ease
Great handling and very responsive
This Entry level Drone From DJi is a great little drone. coming in at under 250 grams and ticks most of the boxes. while only having anti collision sensors under the drove it's still a great one to use. the drone is so responsive and fast it's really fun to use. the great feature it has is return to home button that really works so well. one press and back it comes to where it took off from. The remote control is excellent and the screen is so clear and crisp. the camera on the drone is fantastic and it's 4K.
Total beginner, very happy with how easy it was
I bought this a few weeks ago. I was very happy with how easy it is to get flying, auto take off gets it hovering to 1.2m and then the controls are really easy from there. It was worth spending more to get this with the screen in the controller so my phone is free for calls and texts etc, imagine getting a call whilst your drone is miles away. Anyways. Highly recommend. Could do with a case but got a good one cheap enough on Ebay.
Surprising quality
I have bought this product DJI mini 3 as I have a set budget and I thought it would perform mediocre as there are more high end drones in the market. But to my surprise the drone performed absolutely great capturing amazing videos and photos. The build quality was good. The functions were good. I took it to my recent holiday in the mountains and had an amazing moments. Thanks to DJI and Argos for making it happen.
Excellent quality product and great flyability
Even though it's not the latest or best drone on the market, it is still very good quality, excellent to fly once you get used to it. This is the 1st time I've ever flown a drone! Superb quality videos and pictures with smooth playback once transferred to your phone. I'd definitely recommend getting a spare battery, a memory card and a carry case as well
The best new starter drone in my opinion
Bought this a couple of weeks ago and it’s great fun to fly and the quality of video/pictures is top notch. Best advice is get your licence and insurance sorted, go outside with it and follow all the safety codes being respectful to others at the same time and you’ll capture some great stuff.

This is the first drone I've owned and I would 100% recommend it a very cool bit of kit.
the only down side it that it does not have avoidance but you have to go upto the next price point for that. I would also recommend you watch the you tube videos on this as they were very helpful.
Love it, very easy to use -' and quiet.
It's terrific, and safety features will help you keep on the right side of the law! Thboly downside is the lack of collision detection feature but for the price it's something one can do without. Every easy to fly and a return to home function which is so accurate it's astounding.

Brilliant drone having great fun with it , but ha da scare on ordering sent to wrong town ! But the store gave me a small discount for the confusion and my time so overall happy apart from the fly more kit has now gone down in price 😲 but best thing I've bought for a long time .

Bought this about 2 weeks ago and it’s more than capable of handling itself, with the RTH options (return to home) and the 4k camera it really does deliver. Wast disappointed and great value for money especially with the updates RC remote controls with the FPV viewer built in.
Easy to fly and high quality
Great camera quality and for its size, can withstand stability in windy conditions. Only issues are that the propeller blades are cheap and low quality plastic so will need checking for damage after each flight but comes with spares and are cheap and can be changed easily
Awsom begginers drone
Purchased this a few weeks ago and love the drone, their is a bit of training online to do for your certification to fly (very easy) and a fee of £11.13
You then have to clear authorisation areas which can be difficult
But ultimately a good purchase

Great product but if you can afford it but the Pro version. Optical avoidance higher resolution and tracking for an extra few hundred quid. If you can’t afford the Pro right now hold back until you can is my advice you will appreciate that you did.

I would recommend this as an ideal drone for your first venture into aerial photography.
Easy to fly once you have read the instructions and set your transmitter parameters.
Remember you need to get a flyer i.d. If using it in the UK.
