Excellent quality doorbell camera, pictures are clear day and night. Lots of features on the app, to set motion areas, put blocks up on other peoples properties, can connect to alexa aswell as other eufy products which can also be linked in the app! You can have the app on multiple devices which is helpful for everyone in the household. Super easy to put the doorbell up, came with an extra piece to be able to have the camera on a slight angle if needed or can have it flat. Comes with all screws and wall plugs needed, for a variety of places to put it up. Records with sound aswell as images. Has local storage so no need to pay a subscription however there is an option if its what suits your requirements for one. Notifications straight to your phone, its great that it tells you if it's someone ringing the bell or if its just motion detected, which is handy when your out and about! You can choose how long you want clips to be recorded for. It does only come with 1 battery which is obviously requires charging however i have high activity outside my house due to school holidays and children playing out/at the door, so this means the camera is recording and using battery alot however it was fully charged 5 days ago and has only taken 1 bar off the battery so even with high activity the battery lasts a long time! It has 2 camera's and covers a wide area, perfect for any packages that arrive when your out they stay in view at all tikes with the bottom facing camera, but you can also keep watch on your vehicle etc with the front facing camera. This came with a C charger wire but no plug. It comes with uk and eu plug attachments for the chime unit. The reason for my 4 stars is i just couldn't connect the chime unit to it, just kept telling me it was offline. This doesn’t really effect me as I've connected it to my alexa so it chimes through that. Overall i would highly recommend.
Value for Money
I purchased this a my old Ring system was on its way out as the chim stopped working.
So, the big question now was, do I stick with Ring, or try something new and different altogether?
Well, I went for latter, and so pleased I did. The camera clarity is miles different. The viewing angles are much better also. Also with this Eufy video doorbell, and the second camera available makes it let you see your visitor from head to toe. It also detects if your visitor is carrying a parcel. As soon you open the Eufy app, it notifies you of how many visitors and packages had been within your allotted detection area. This again is all about you being in total control. You are in control of what areas that will detect any movement. Again you can adjust the sensitivity of the movement and how long each movement type of clip will last. This is something from a few seconds to 30 seconds. Again you decide what you want. The app is very easy to find and download, and from then on everything is explained in an easy to understand format. At the time I bought this it was a little more expensive than Amazon, but lucky for me Argos had a money off offer which smashed Amazon’s pricing. Coupled with the easy pay in 3 instalments, made it all that sweeter.

Easy to install, mine is hardwired using existing doorbell wiring having bypassed the original chime. The chime supplied is more than adequate just plugs into the mains power socket and then connects to your routers WIFI via the Eufy security app where you have a choice of tones and can set the volume (loud is loud).
The app is easy to install on your smartphone, the app walks you through the setup of both the doorbell and the chime.
I found this doorbell very easy to setup and get working The picture quality from both the cameras is excellent.
You can also use this doorbell with the supplied standalone rechargeable battery so no wiring is necessary you charge it with a USB type phone charger, cable is supplied but not the charger. You must keep the battery in place even if you use the doorbell hardwired so it is being trickled charged all the time no need to remove it as is the case when not hard wired.
The doorbell has an internal 8GB storage but if that is not big enough for you you can put a micro SD card in the chime up to 128GB.
I was very pleased with my purchase as I wanted a video doorbell without subscription that would connect to my existing wiring, at the time of purchase I could not find any retailer more competitive than Argos.

Great doorbell! Really innovative.
Love the features of this doorbell, the 2 camera angles are excellent, it means I can see faces and the floor for parcels. Set up was relatively easy and simple, screwed into a wood beam on our porch, the wedge that came with it was perfect as it angled it just right. Setting up the app was easy and each step was quick and simple. It's a smart looking doorbell, very sleek. Chime has a range of different noises if you don't like the classic ding dong. I really like that you have a choice of using rechargable battery or wired in, we went for using the rechargable battery which seems to have a good battery life. Video footage is clear and good quality, face recognition is an innovative bonus! Chime stores the videos and says it can have an SD card in, doesn't seem to be essential, so far I've used without SD card just deleting videos regularly so it doesn't fill the limited storage space. I really like that I can now talk to delivery drivers when they arrive when I'm out the house, this completely removes the stress of waiting for deliveries!
Great dual camera and works well once set up!
I ordered this product as it seemed a bit different than the others, a dual camera, one that is front facing and the other focuses down where parcels could be left. There is plenty of information in the box for set up, easy to follow but not necessarily straightforward depending on your current set up. It suggests that you would replace your existing doorbell with this one, but mine was not at a sufficient height. Therefore I had to drill new holes in to the wall and am currently using it as battery operated. It did take a while to charge, and not sure how long it will last yet, but will try to update the review when I get chance. The set up on the app was relatively straightforward, did take a few attempts to get the plug in inside chime to work in unison. But now it is set up, the camera seems clear, automatically picks up movement and also lets me know if that movement was a human. I can also go on the app to see live pictures too. At the moment everything I need from a video doorbell.
Quality Bell
Great bit of kit. Easy to install and easy to operate. The App makes it easy to to access events or live views. Picture quality is clear day or night and the two cameras eliminates blind spots for parcels left on the step. Can be used as a simple doorbell with intercom but there’s loads of options to increase security aswell as Facial recognition although the more features you use the less the battery lasts. I bought a memory card to save my recordings using the indoor chime instead of the onboard doorbell. Early days interms of battery life but I’m guessing I’ll be charging it monthly which given the amount of traffic I get is acceptable. I also think as doorbells go it’s not the ugliest in the market and the up and down lights add to the security and the aesthetics of the unit. All in all I think the Eufy is a quality product that equals Ring in features but doesn’t demand a recurring Subscription which means after 12 month the Eufy is actually better value too.
I thought it would be an upgrade from Ring
I purchased this with the thought that it would be an upgrade from my Ring camera and as a bonus it would free me from the Ring subscription. But unfortunately it was a backwards step. The camera offers a better resolution than the Ring, but in fact the quality was worse. The door bell was very hit and miss at detecting people or any kind of movement. Even stood there in front of it waving my hands around like a mad man didn't trigger the camera. The final straw was on day 3 when I found it impossible to connect to the camera via the app. It just kept on telling me there was an error. Finally getting home the only way to get it to connect again was to completely reset it, which is not an ideal solution every other day. And even then it still didn't detect me walking up, down, left and right in front of it. So off it came to be returned. The Ring bell has subsequently been put back on as I would rather pay a little bit a month for reliability.

Great doorbell camera and surprise feature in the
Had this about a month now and very pleased with it. If you read the specification on the advertisments you will see that it has all the function (AI, alerts, trigger alert options etc) normally offered only on the subscription devices. So, great functions for a non-subscription item. Have had many alerts each day and the battery is still above 75% so that seems far better than previous ones I've had. The surprise for me, which I hadn't spotted in the advertisments information is that the chime can also be confirgured as a base station; that is, all allerts are stored on the chime's SD card (not supplied) rather than the doorbell internal storage. Just an added bonus if someone stole the camera, you would still have the footage of it. The installation instructions for doing this weren't obvious so had to search the net for other users info on how to do this.
Some good features, some not so good
I bought this mainly because of not wanting to pay a subscription. The good points are:- being able to connect to a transformer to keep the battery topped up. Parcel identification being left on the door step is good and notification when the parcel has been collected from the step is useful especially if you are not home. Being able to select an area to monitor is also good to try and stop false alarms (there’s some but in reduced numbers). Recording events to an SD memory card inserted in the mini chime hence not needing connection to a cloud storage and paying a subscription.
Not so goodI points:- slow response to warn of someone at the door. Slow to connect to talk to someone at the door (they may leave before you have a chance to get their attention.
Overall i would recommend this video doorbell and chime.
Good product clear videos
Good device. Camera shows two views one in front and one towards the floor. Good clear picture both in day and night time. Took about 25 to fully set up. Initially had WiFi connection issues but think that was my WiFi more than the product. Has worked fine since resetting my WiFi. Fully charged the battery before first use and so far still 89% left after 4 full days of being used. Can change ring tones and volume both for outside and inside chime. Can speak or choose to leave automatic messages to visitors. Get notifications if someone appears in view find, presses the door bell and even lets you know if someone has a parcel. Can only be removed from wall fixing using a special pin/ key. Saves videos on the required app which is free to install.
Works well
I wanted a video doorbell that you don't have to pay any on going subscription charges after you have bought it. Argos were offering the best price for the E340 kit including the mini chime at the time, Installing and setting it up wasn't too difficult if you take your time and follow the instructions but I had to look on the internet to find how to get the recordings to be saved on the mini chime ( you need to buy a micro SD card for this option). The phone app has loads of settings you can configure and the human detection works very well I am very pleased with it so far, one important point though as with most of these doorbells make sure you have a good wifi signal where you intend to mount the bell and indoor chime.

Wonderful. There is an app you can use and follow instructions for set up, I can find these things hard, but was pleased it was easy. The only thing I found annoying was the QR code on the doorbell is very hard to scan, so I had to type it in (minor inconvenience).
Once fitted it works wonderfully, reckonises people, can identify when there is a parcel.
The image is very clear. Can speak to people, even set up automated responses if you want.
I did not wire mine in, used the battery and the battery life is most impressive, over a week so far and not needed to re-charge.
I must say compared to previous doorbells of other makes, this is my favorite, no monthly fee, just buy a memory card. Highly recommend.
State of the art door bell
The whole system was easy to install. Connected quicky to my phone app to be able to monitor the security easy.
The physical install was simple with a few screws and absolutely love the fact there's a specific key to dismount the doorbell when it requires charging. Gives you peace of mind it's secure.
Battery life is good and the ability to set when you want to receive notifications, there frequency and what form of alert is great.
Picture quality is really good, and downloading media incredibly simple appose to previous systems I've used.

A little gem!
Purchased this video door camera after doing lots of research. I didn't want anything I had to subscribe to so opted for the E340 as it had lots of positive reviews across a range of different sites. I found the product relatively easy to set up but I did experience a few issues connecting it to my WiFi and linking it with the supplied door chime. However, I fully accept that my lack of technical nouse could have contributed to the problem! Overall the product is well built, the camera is excellent and the app is a breeze to use. Absolutely love it!
Good Quality Product
First time I’ve had a video door bell. Door bell unit feels sturdy enough and easy to fix to outside wall. (I’m running it solely off battery power so no cabling to worry about). Was a pretty straight forward set up and connection to wi-fi (using the app). Appears relatively sensitive to picking up and recording movement and so far the SD card (not included) is holding about 9 days worth of images. Yet to see how long the battery holds charge (still showing about 80% after 9 days)
Overall I think this is a good quality, easy to use product.

The app shows the battery and wifi connection of the doorbell which is usefull. Setting uo the indoor chime was a bit difficult as the instructions were not clear but its easy once you figure out hoe to get in on the app. I you tubed it. Very clear screen and sound quality. Has some memory but you can add additional sd card. The tool they give you to take the bell of is a fridge magnet so handy as you wint loose it. Now i know how to set it up i 100% Would buy it again and recommend it.

This camera doorbell exceeded my expectations. The quality of the picture and sound is brilliant! Ive decided not to install the doorbell chime part though as i dont need it at the moment. The instructions are clear to follow and talk you through installation and set up. All the parts are included for external set up and installation. Once you download the eufy security app, it guides you through an easy set up, and i was able to view content within a few moments of setting it up. Theres no sign up or monthly fees either which is great!!
Meets our needs with no subscription
Bought Eufy E340 with chime a few weeks ago and we are pleased with its performance in meeting our needs. To set everything up, putting the app and optimising it on several phones, and connecting with your home wifi, allow for an hour or more. Familiarisation takes some time. We chose this video doorbell over a Ring product as it stores camera footage locally and in the app without the need for a monthly subscription. Camera resolution and visibility are clear. Several friends recommended it to us and we would recommend it to others.
