This is the first lightweight cordless vacuum I have owned or even tried, so I've only had the old heavy, noisy, steam driven traditional type that you need a man with a red flag in front to use.
So, plus points first: no cord to get in the way or having to be unplugged and plugged back in when going from room to room. Lighter and easier to manoeuvre than the old type to a point (see minus points). Breaks down to a handy size for stairs, car interiors etc. Bagless, so no messing about with bag changing. It's much, much quieter than my old model so the rest of the street don't have to put bags over their heads every time you plug it in and it can just about do a 3 bed house on one charge if you don't need the turbo setting or use it to pop down the shop for a pint of milk (why would you do that).
Minus points: The trigger handle is awkward if you have big paws like me, so when you are negotiating furniture etc the trigger often gets pressed by mistake turning it off mid operation as there's not enough room to hold it away from the trigger. Dust container is small so needs emptying often during use (I think this is common with most lightweight vacs). My model lacks an upholstery brush attachment which would have been useful. A little pricey, but managed to grab this one while on offer.
So a good improvement over traditional vacs and hopefully a reliable make.....if it lasts longer than those Bosch windscreen wipers I bought, did I tell you about those.......
Great vacuum
As a busy mum of four children I was really excited to try this hoover as you can imagine things can get a bit messy sometimes. I was really impressed with how lightweight it was, at only 2.3kg making it perfect for young and old alike. This powerful vacuum is very versatile and can be used on carpets, vinyl, laminate and even upholstery making it the perfect addition to any home. It can also be converted into a compact hand held vacuum which is great for those hard to reach areas, the nozzle attachment make sure it gets into every corner with ease. It also comes with a very handy docking station where it can be easily charged but also kept out the way of small children. After it's been charged the vacuum lasts for 30 minutes giving you a reasonable amount of time to get lots of rooms done. The battery pack is also compatible with Bosch 18v cordless devices masking it very versatile and convenient. It has a easy to clean filter and also very easy to empty the dust box too. It's powerful and emission free motor makes it the perfect vacuum to provide an effective and efficient performance. I can't rate this hoover enough, it's perfect for what I need. The only negative is it takes a while to charge, and it could do with more then the 30 mins hoover time, especially for houses with lots of rooms but apart from that it's fab!
Really good, small but powerful
Nearly sent it back without taking out of the box as it was much smaller than I expected. But for a small house or flat it's perfect. Can put the vacuum around now while waiting for the kettle to boil etc rather than having to set time aside to hike the Dyson out of the cupboard and plug it in in every room. Very light and manoeuvrable, gets around and under things without having to move furniture about so much. It's plenty powerful enough and the dust collector is plenty big enough even if it appears small at first. Useful to use in the car without the extension tube too. More attachments would have been good, and while the 30 mins un time is more than adequate the 4 hours or more to fully recharge seems a long time. Over all very pleased!
Lightweight and easy to use
Received in compact and minimal packaging that is recyclable. Simple to put together, I didn't need instructions.
It is VERY light and easy to use which is amazing as I suffer with arthritis and can use this vacuum without adding to my pain levels. Not the quietest but not overly loud.
Glides smoothly across all surfaces and transitions from carpet to tile easily. Great suction and a surprisingly large dirt collecting capacity.

Practical vacuum cleaner
This vacuum cleaner from Bosch is so practical and easy to use that I end up using it more often than my corded one. It's not as strong as the corded one, but it's more than enough for my needs. It does have a turbo button that makes it more powerful but that has a great impact on the battery life. The charging of the battery could be a bit faster. A good thing is that the battery is removable so you can have extra batteries for longer sessions. It could have come with more attachaments, particulary I miss the dusting brush.
Amazing power and super lightweight
This is my first cordless hoover and I really regret not getting one before now! We have two cats (white fur and black furniture!) so regularly need to go over to keep on top of it. It’s really easy to use, didn’t even need to read the manual! The charge lasted enough to do my entire house and the inside of my car too! It has a turbo mode too for those really hard to hoover surfaces such as shaggy rugs that pick up everything!
It’s also very sleek and modern, not bulky at all and fits perfect behind our kitchen door

Before turning on the vacuum I noticed how light it was in weight, considering how much power this vacuum can give and that there is a Bosch Battery at the top it is so light I am really impressed and would recommend to people if they don't want a bulky vacuum cordless or not.
It's very easy to charge the vacuum and there is a turbo option as well for extra sucking power. The Bosch battery you can use for other Bosch products which is ideal! Absolutely love it!!

Does not glide easily on carpet
This cleaner does not have wheels so it does not glide easily on carpet. It requires a little bit of effort on normal mode and much more on turbo, to the point that I find it quite difficult to use as it really grips the carpet. I think for some people with a disability, it could be too difficult. Glides well on vinyl flooring, making it much easier. It picks up reasonably well on normal mode, although I sometimes have to go over things a couple of times. Picks up very well on turbo.
Surprisingly Good Suction
I bought this vacuum cleaner just a short while ago to do small jobs such as cleaning a filter and heat exchanger in my tumble drier, so I don't know how long it will vacuum before the battery becomes flat (it has not yet picked up large quantities of dust). Having said that, the suction is more powerful than what I would expect from a battery charged cleaner. It also has a 'turbo' option which gives even better suction for a shorter period, and which I sometimes find very useful.
Great vacuum cleaner
There was no brush attachment in the box, which was a shame, but the parts went together well and it looks good. I charged it initially overnight and found it worked really well picking up everything on my Amtico floors as well as the stair carpet, even tiny bits. Enough charge to clean everywhere I needed. It’s great to have a cordless cleaner so it doesn’t get tangled and hooked around doors etc. It’s not too noisy either. This is a really good product and I would recommend it
A must have for every household
The best features of the hoover include its light weight, fast suction the turbo fuction and the easier maintainance, and the cordless use.
The hoover quickly adapts itself and maintains the suction when used on carpet or hard flooring. The motorised brush makes cleaning carpets easier
and its really easy to store when not in use.
I feel this is practically the only cleaning device I need in my house.

When I first saw the size of the dust container , I was perplexed as to how many times I would have to empty it whilst vacuuming my living room but i had nothing to worry about because it had enough space and room for more dirt!

Looks nice. Easy to put together. It’s quite heavy for what’s it is. Handy that you can take the long pipe off and use as a ‘hand held’. It is easy to empty once you get the hang of it. Battery took about 8 hours to fully charge, and lasted about 20 mins. Ran out a lot quicker when turbo is on. It picked up good and better with turbo on. The brush comes out so it’s easier to clean hairs and stuff off it. Overall it’s O.K.
Great addition to family home!
Great for the family home. Works well on all floor types, we’ve got tiles, wooden floorboards and carpet and works wonders on all! Only disappointment is that this model doesn’t come with the upholstery brush attachment. Lightweight and impressed with the battery, the turbo feature is amazing but does drain the battery so much quicker. Easy to charge, assemble and use which is what you need in a busy family home.
A good looking vacuum, nice and light
Overall I’m pleased with my new Bosch cordless vacuum-but it’s taken me a while to work it all out, as it’s not the easiest of vacuums to empty.
Pros: lightweight, keeps its charge, well-made
Cons: the waste chamber is very small, so it needs constant emptying-and it’s not straightforward to do this! Lots of buttons to press and click, etc.
But it was a good price and I feel it will last.
Light and easy to use vaccum
Really happy with this vacuum.
It's obviously not as powerful as a regular vacuum, but it's really light and maneuverable, so I use it more often because of that.
I do not have carpets, so not sure how good is the suction on those surfaces, but it works great on my hardwood floors.
One charge lets me vacuum my 2 room flat 3 times, so I'm happy in that respect as well.

Handy Cordless Cleaner
We needed a new vacuum because we moved to a 2 bed terrace. We love this one because it is quick to charge and easy to go from hardwood to carpet with no fuss. Its easy to use straight out of the box, the vacuum is quite intuitive. The only thing to note is that you can't charge just the battery which would make it more convenient. We also found that you have to use it on turbo.
Slim and limelight cordless vacuum
This came well packaged and was extremely easy to assemble even with no knowledge. The height of the handle is fixed and is slightly on the shorter side. The vacuum is slim and sleek. It is easy to store. The turbo mode on it is a great feature and works very well. Suction is good but on turbo mode it is amazing. It is also very light and cordless making it easy to move around.
The perfect cordless vacuum!
This is the perfect cordless vacuum as it is so lightweight! I tend to use the turbo setting which does drain the battery quicker but I am still able to vacuum our bungalow in one sitting without having to charge mid way. I particularly love how easy it is to clean the skirting boards and those harder to reach areas by just detaching the Hoover head and using the suction!
