Lovely set of headphones.
First thing I would say though is that these are probably smaller than others… however, for me; they are actually perfect for my head. The band can extend and the earcups rotate so it will wrap around your head really well. The ear-cups are not too big, and the whole thing is very light weight. The cushioning is very comfortable and soft. As soon as you put it on, it straight away blocks out much of the ambient noise even without any sound on. I used them on a train, it was great just having them on without music and having some peace and quiet. They look really sleek too. No flashy lights or bright branding. Just subtle and professional.
Connecting was very simple, took about 15seconds from start to finish. Nothing special needed, just searched on my phone and it was there (after holding down the power button for about 10seconds on headset) and it connects straight away. On my phone, it also shows how much battery is left on the headphones too next to the Bluetooth pull-down icon (android phone).
Sound quality is good in my opinion. Not tinny at all. Good clarity, volume and bass. Don’t need to turn the volume to maximum to hear things well. There is a built in microphone which is great. Picks up my voice well.
Turning on is simple, and you are greeted with a nice ‘entry’ tune and also announces the battery level. When you turn it off, you get an ‘exit’ tune.
All in all, a very nice Bluetooth headset that is light, but works really well. Very simple and easy to use. Comes with clear instructions. You can install an app for further customisation, but it is totally optional, you do not need the app to use this headset.

Superb Quality
I thoroughly enjoyed testing these JLab JBuds over the ear headphones, I was pleasantly surprised of their quality, given that they don't weigh a great deal compared to some other headphones I've used.
Pairing the headphones with my laptop and phone was so simple and had no issues with connectivity at all. Being light they fitted really nicely and the well-padded ear cups and headband ensure a comfortable fit enabling long use.
The controls on the side of the headset are easy to use and a solid feel to them. If you download the JLAB app on your phone you have more control over your headphones including volume and equalizer settings , charging them uses a USB-C connection and they have a great battery life.
The sound quality is amazing, deep bass and the mid-range and trebles are well separated making listening a pleasant experience even at high volume levels there was no distortion or sound break up. I use gaming headphones at work and these are definitely as good if not better then those, I might have to change my work ones now.
One feature I love about these headphones are you are able to connect to two devices at the same time, which i haven't seen with other headphones so could listen to music on my laptop as well as being contactable on my phone at the same time.
If you are after a well built, great sounding set of headphones that are in my opinion better than some of the big named brands you certainly cannot go wrong with these JLAB JBudsLux. I would highly recommend purchasing.
Great all-rounder for the price point
I bought this as a cheeky extra birthday present after my last pair of a different brand half conked out, and oh my lord is it worth it.
Battery: I've used them nearly every day since purchase and I've not needed to recharge yet! A great feature of these is also when you turn them on, it tells you the general battery level (full, medium and presumably low - not got there yet).
Comfort: The padding on the band and ears are so so comfortable, and it pairs very nicely with the noise cancellation.
Connectivity and microphone: Easily connects to my android devices, and even my work computer for meetings, which leads me onto the microphone. I've been informed it's not the most amazing quality ever, but definitely serviceable - which is good enough for me!
Sound quality: The sound quality is absolutely incredible, especially for the price - paired with the noise cancellation features, working in the office has never been more peaceful while I'm trying to focus. They make a different chime depending on what level you pick i.e. no cancellation, full noise cancellation and environment awareness.
The noise cancellation even cancels out someone talking next to you (to a very low murmur like sound) and works on lower voices too.
My green pair even came with a charging cable that colour matched the headphones themselves - so cute!

Almost perfect
Impressed with these headphones for the price - I had been keeping an eye waiting for them to come on sale but now the usual full price of £49 its been for months is being advertised as the 'sale' price even though no reduction. Tut tut, Argos.
Nevertheless, these are worth the money and work exactly as intended. The noise cancellation works noticeably well, the JLab app is useful and I've had no problem connecting to a phone, TV and laptop.
The only thing that could be better is it is difficult to tell which noise cancellation setting you have on until there's noise. There is a musical tone when switching between the 3 modes but no indication what it means. If you're connected to a phone you can see on the app but not if you're connected to something else. In a quiet environment you could easily be wasting a lot of battery on noise cancellation and not need it. Or be on the Be Aware setting (which amplifies external noise) and get the fright of your life at an unexpected noise. There is a voice message for nearly every other setting so it seems silly to not have it for this.
Super spec for the price point
I recently decided to try out the JLab headphones, and I have to say, I'm positively surprised. As someone who owns premium headphones that cost three times as much, I wasn't expecting these to impress me as much as they did.
First off, the bass on the JLab headphones is incredibly strong, providing a deep, immersive sound that really enhances the listening experience. While the highs could be a bit stronger, the overall sound quality is very impressive for the price point.
One of the most surprising aspects is the specification of these headphones. They offer features that are better than my premium brand headphones, such as longer battery life, newest bluetooth 5.4 , as well as multipoint connection and nice app to set all up. Given that these are much more affordable, the value for money is outstanding.
In conclusion, JLab headphones offer excellent performance and specifications, rivaling that of premium brands at a fraction of the cost. If you're looking for high-quality sound without breaking the bank, I highly recommend giving JLab a try.
Solid choice if you catch them on offer
Take the price tag out of the equation and these are actually a decent pair of headphones. The sound leans towards the bassy side, but I had no beef with that, nor any desire to bother tinkering with the equaliser. Fairly light, snug, and comfortable to wear, even on a larger head, which some people might find important. I didn’t clock the exact battery hours, but after a full charge in the morning and typical on-and-off use throughout the day, I never once had to think about recharging.
Enough back-patting though, let's get petty. At £49.99, they’re a steal. At the usual £79.99, they’re still a decent punt, but not quite a “shut up and take my money!” type of purchase. At that price, you (fair enough, maybe not you, I’m just projecting here) start thinking about adding another £50 for something that feels just a touch more premium. I know, right? Go figure my budgeting logic. As I said, in this part of the review I’m probably just being fussy for the sake of it.
Bottom line? A solid shout, especially if you catch them around the £50 mark.

Headphones are perfect for drowning out the world without breaking the bank. With their Active Noise Cancellation you can reduce the unpleasantness of daily life, screaming kids & the neighbours riding their motorbikes up & down the street replacing all this with the headphone’s app’s options for relaxing ambient sounds or better still your good old music library.
Having now spent time with these headphones I can confirm the sound & build quality to be excellent & far better than expected for their price point. The fit & comfort of the earcups & general feel of wearing these is so good you can comfortably block out the world for hours. Battery life is also generous ensuring plenty of time between having to remember to charge & certainly outlasting the neighbours who by now will have grown bored of their noisy motorbikes & fallen into a drunken slumber. These should become standard issue to treat yourself to that very necessary moments peace.

I bought this product for our wonderful offspring, and they couldn't be happier.
This product drowns out the parental noise, from phrases such as, "Have you cleaned your room, and could you take the bin out to favourites such as, "yes, I did need you to be ready for your appointment at ten o'clock."
Our teenager can now, quietly rest into the thunderous sounds of Gorilaz Plastic beach songs as they tap away at the computer while building flint and steel on their state of the art computer, which will soon need to be updated because, come this Christmas it will be the wrong one.
These spectacular devices have many uses and you may find after a few weeks of use, they will end up as bookends along with VR headset, but they will still be Rizz, so borrow them at your peril.

Excellent value headphones!
These headphones do all the fundamentals I want incredibly well. The sound quality is great and I can tweak the individual aspects within the app that's straightforward to do, which is handy if I want to up or reduce the bass depending on the music I'm listening to. The noise cancellation is easy to trigger on and off with the rubber buttons on the back and does a great job of reducing background noise, which makes the song or youtube video I'm listening to even clearer. With headphones in the past, the Bluetooth has been a bit hit and miss, but with these the connection is instant so no faffing about there. The battery life is great, barely ticking down at all after using them all day. The ear cups are actually ear shaped which means they sit where they should and are comfortable to wear for multiple hours. They're the best value set of headphones I've ever used, great quality for the cost.
Good so far but not excellent.
Bought a few weeks ago for a trip overseas. Hoping they would help me to sleep on a long haul flight which the marketing claims state the noise cancelling is good for. Didn't help me sleep but did lower the noise levels a little when watching films to stop me hearing other people's conversations to the point of distraction.
Were comfortable to be worn for a few hrs and definitely more comfortable than the airlines headphones.
Look really good in the sage colour.

Have worn them multiple times so far and still not needed to recharge them.

Bought these about 2-3 weeks ago, got them on a sale price around 40% off. They definitely sound better than i expected! The ANC works very well. Has 3 modes, disabled, aware mode, and silence mode. They surprisingly did very well. Call audio quality was very nice, im always skeptical of how well the person on the other end can hear me as Bluetooth headphones and earphones are known to be not the best.
I can wear them just fine for about 3-4hrs, anything more and i can feel the headstrap dig in.
Sounds great! Apparently using the Equilizer app to create your own EQ curve makes the sound worse. Never seen this before. But using their signature sound from the app is actually sounded the best. Clear highs and deep lows.
Battery, super good! 2-3 weeks and I've not even charged it yet. Around 70% rightnow. Lasts quite well!
Actually one of the best headphones you can buy
I purchased these headphones to replace another pair which were starting to wear out on the earcups & to be honest I am amazed by their overall quality for the price I paid. Active noise cancelling is even better than my old pair of Soundcore Q20i so I have a preference for wearing my JLab Lux most of the time now, once these are on my head I have no worries about hearing any external noise. The sound quality is also exceptional with amazing clarity & bass response when listening to music. I charge them every other day as I do wear them all day long most of the time & last but not least unlike Sony headphones these will work with a Samsung Smart TV no problem at all. Don’t spend more than you need to on a decent pair of headphones, some are way overpriced these ones arent.
not bad for the price
bought these as they were on offer and my old plug in headphones where worn to bits. what you get in the box are the headphones, decent length usb-c charging cable and an instruction leaflet. you dont get a charger. luckily my laptop has a usb-c port so i plug it in that and i can use the headphones as a normal wired pair whilst it is charging. it has a good sound and you can cut out the exterior noise by pressing a button or you can press it again and have ambient external noise which i like. the headphones do become a bit uncomfortable after a long time wearing them but the battery is really good. for the price i think they are good and if they had a charger they would be well worth it.
Excellent quality noise-cancelling headphones
I’ve been using these Jlab Jbud Lux headphones every day since I purchased them two weeks ago and I love them. The bud in the name is a bit misleading, these are over-ear, quality headphones at a remarkable price. The headphones are sturdy and well made. They are very comfortable to wear and the noise-cancelling works great. I’ve used them on flights and on a ferry journey lasting several hours and I have only charged them once since I got them. They are easy to set-up and can pair with two devices simultaneously. Great for using with your laptop and phone at the same time. One tiny gripe, I would have liked a carry case to keep them safe but the headphones themselves, I love them!
Amazing relatively affordable headphones
As someone who wears headphones all the time, these are fantastic, they sit comfortably and rarely give my any discomfort. The noise cancellation is incredible and the sound is really good.
They can connect to up to 2 devices, however they cannot use both of their sound at once. if you are using your "secondary device" or the one you connect to second, they will take about 5 seconds to give you sound from that device, which can be annoying. They last an incredibly long time as well, i rarely get them to medium battery if i recharge them every day, its only if i use them for two days without charging that their battery can be a problem.
All in all, an amazing product.
Simply one of the best
I bought these about a month ago. When purchasing them, I didn’t really have the highest of expectations. However, the more I use them, the more impressed I am. These headphones are comparable to other headphones that are sold for 5 times the price. The noise cancellation is amazing for focusing and the sound quality is addicting. These headphones are also amazing at switching connections between the devices I am using. It swaps really fast without me doing anything extra. It could be connected to my phone and when I pause my music and play a video on my laptop, it’s already connected and delivering top quality. I really do recommend these headphones!
A1 - can simultaneously connect to two devices
Really pleased with these, not massively loud but more than good enough. Connected to an Android (Google Pixel, old'ish one) and iPhone (very old one) with no problems. Very impressed that you can maintain a connection to 2 different devices, really clever, that. Noise cancellation is very impressive, I'm sure you'd get more if you spent more but it does an 80% job I'd say. Mainly used these when working in a loud room with a continuous noise producing machine and it reduced it by 80% I'd say. They were very good for fifty quid, not sure I'd pay more for them as that's close to the next level up made by another manufacturer.
Best headphones
I've tried out quite a few headphones, before I got to these. The battery lasts for weeks, and I use them for six hours a day. I've got them linked to my TV and mobile phone. The cool feature is when watching YouTube, you can pause the video with a push of a button on the headphones, and use the mobile phone. The noise cancelling feature is good, it can block out the sound of a portable air conditioning unit four feet away. I highly recommend these headphones. They are better than the Sony or sound core and others that are way more expensive. I like that it tells you how much battery life is left when turning them on.
Super comfy headphones
Easy to use & lovely padding to cushion them against your ears.
The sound quality really shuts out the world & enables you to absorb yourself in your music.
The way they can fold up small for putting in your bag is a real bonus.
Also they stay fully charged for hours!
I would have given five stars if they were slightly flatter because they look quite chunky compared to some I have seen.
Also, on a windy day it can distort the sound which is annoying.
So, not perfect but on the whole definitely worth the money and I wear them everyday :)
