Make ironing less of a chore
Quite impressed with this Russell Hobbs Titanium Carbide Iron, It's light and easy to use. The iron has a great shape with its pointed nose making it easier to iron shirt collars and in between buttons. The selection dial is clear and it heats up well. Read a few comments about water leaking from the inlet, I did not experience this, the cap to the water inlet needs to be pressed a bit till you hear a click. The iron glides smoothly over clothes with an adequate amount of steam but had to press the steam button for a few extra bursts when ironing clothes that were quite creased. The 3m long cord is great as you can get to the end of the ironing board without having to shuffle around like I have to with my older iron. The only two slight downsides are the dark colour of the water tank making it slightly difficult to see the water level and the steam button sticks a bit, hence the 4 stars. Overall, I'm quite pleased with this iron and would recommend it to anyone looking for one.

Good but the styling adds nothing.
The colour theme of the iron is dark and it has a very long ultra black thick electrical cord that looks like it belongs on some workshop tool. The water container is quite tinted, not always easy to see the water level. The iron controls and dials are exactly the same as other Russell Hobbs irons, intuitive. The shot of steam is quite strong, I feel the iron is going to take off, but keep hands away from the base area when operating. The claims of the sole plate don't stand up, I find at times it can be slightly hard to push around and can actually bunch up the fabric and then I iron creases into the item. It's not the temperature, maybe it depends on the material but I didn't have that issue with my last RH iron. I got it on sale but had I bought it at normal price I would have returned it. Powerful, quick to heat up, not too heavy, long flex but not perfect..the styling adds nothing...It's an iron!

Futuristic design
After using the iron for a few weeks i am pretty impressed with it. It heats up nice and quick for when you are in a rush. The steam shot is very powerful to iron out any creases and glides over clothes with no effort. I love the design and colours of it, it feels sturdy and well made. So far there is no sticky marks on the plate like my last iron always had and this is maybe down to the titanium. It has a bigger water tank than my last iron which is a bonus. The down side to the iron is that it is hard to see the water level if you are in a darker room with the tank being a dark gray. Also the cord is longer than my last iron but there isnt a cable clip or cable tidy on it. You need to just wrap it around the bottom of the iron and with no clip on it it just unravels.

I’m really pleased with this Russell Hobbs iron. It heats up quickly and glides smoothly over all types of fabric, making ironing much faster and easier. The steam function is powerful and removes stubborn creases with very little effort.
It feels well made, is easy to use, and the water tank is a good size so I don’t have to keep refilling it. I also like the temperature control, which makes it safe to use on different materials.
Overall, this is a great quality iron for the price and does exactly what it should. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable iron.

Make short work of your ironing
I have been using this iron for a few weeks now and I am really impressed.
There are many good features on this iron, including an almost 3m long power cable, large 330ml water tank and anti calc/self cleaning feature to help prolong the life of the iron. Also has an anti drip feature on the soleplate. The soleplate is made of titanium carbide ceramic which makes it 3x more durable than others on the market.
The steam shot and continuous steam settings are quite powerful and iron even heavy materials like denim quickly.
Iron is of a good weight but not too heavy.
I would recommend this item.

Quality Iron with minor flaws
This Russell Hobbs iron is a decently built iron and looks pretty cool with the colourway they've used. It does a very decent job at what it's designed to do, which is iron clothes. It has a nicely pointed nose which allows for precision. It's also glides effortlessly. At 3m long, the cord is more than ample length, meaning you do not need to stand right next to a plug socket.
The minor flaws mentioned are some slight water leakage and it takes maybe longer than average to get up to heat. I've encountered both of these issues on other irons too in the past, so not a major issue for me.

Good iron but…
I’m impressed with this iron, it’s lightweight yet powerful, heats up quickly, and glides smoothly over fabrics. The steam output is strong and consistent, and I love that the temperature control is precise, preventing damage to delicate clothes. The iron design is nice looks good.
The only drawback is the occasional water leakage, which can be annoying when ironing for long periods. Attention to the water tank design would make this iron better.
Despite that its durable, efficient, and stylish. If you don’t mind wiping up a few drips now and then, it’s definitely worth buying!

Russell hobbs iron
I bought this a while back as the iron i was using was about to die and read that people had commented how difficult it was to see how much water was being added to the refill tank due to the colour....and they were correct it is extremely difficult.
The other issue i have is that water drips from temp gauge area onto the electric cord and onto the ironing board when steam is on...not an ideal combination....had i bought this more recently i would have returned it...fortunately the iron works well without steam!

Good steam iron but wish it was slightly heavier
I bought this a few weeks ago as my previous steam iron had lost its ability to steam! The new one is good and uses plenty of water to produce the steam. My preference would be that it was slightly heavier so you didn't need to press quite as heavily on the clothes. I also agree with other purchasers that it's very difficult to see the water reservoir on the side of the iron when filling it up so the side panel could do with being a lighter colour. All in all though it was a good value purchase

Makes ironing easy
I know its not exciting to write about the quality of an iron however this titanium carbide sole plate is fantastic compared to my previous Russell hobbs iron where i would get build up on the plate and stick to clothes so would have to keep cleaning it this one doesn't!! Glides effortlessly over all materials lightweight great strong steam function and ample thick braided power cord ironing is not my favorite task as most will agree but this iron has made things alot easier and quicker 👏

Great features!
I bought this Russell Hobbs iron a 2 weeks ago and ironed my first shirt! I must say that it glides over any fabric with ease after adjusting it to the right temperature according to the manual which makes everything much more simple. It’s light weight, easy to use with amazing results. One of the best parts about it is that it has a long cable so you don’t even have to worry about discomfort or tugging on the cable with a great reach making it the perfect iron for any sized clothing

Lightweight iron, decent steam
I bought this iron a few weeks ago to replace my Morphy Richards one that got totally scaled up.
The iron is lightweight, with easy to use temperature control.
The only massive downside is that the casing of the ester tank is so dark you can't see the water level. I constantly overfill the iron leaving me with a wet ironing board cover.
Bit surprised that when the product was in the design stage this wasn't picked up.
Not sure I'd buy another Russell Hobbs iron.

Irons well but is heavy
Bought this as my old iron died. Love the extra long flex, makes ironing much easier, I always struggled with the old one. It is a large and heavy iron which I still struggle with a bit as it's predecessor was very light. It does iron well. I have yet to use the steam function. According to the instructions you can use it as a garment steamer. Youu will need strong arms, the weight will soon fatigue you.

Pleased so far - glides through ironing
I bought this model having taken back a faulty different Russell Hobbs model that leaked everywhere. I’m impressed so far. The plate gives an effortless glide and confidence that it’s not going to catch or snag. The controls are easy to understand and doesn’t over steam on the lowest level. The only downside is the grey water tank that makes it hard to see water level. Would recommend on the sale price.

Good price in sale
Bought recently during sale - 40% reduction. Needed an iron quickly as my old one just gave up. This works fine, nice long flex. Not great on very dry cotton/linens, Can't see water level as the tank is dark grey/black. Nice weight, not heavy. Not sure I would have been happy had I paid full price - in the mid £50.00. range. May have been tempted to return if I had paid full price.

Sleek design but flawed
This iron has a sleek design but its major flaw is that its dark materials obscure the water level in the tank , which adds an unnecessary check when in use. It claims that an eight year old can master its usage , but it may be too heavy for some. However, all ages will find the extra cord length is a bonus.
Generally fulfills its claims on the box for an up to date iron.

Stylish looking but lacks in quality
Great looking iron and sturdy. Feels like a quality piece but on using it i was disapointed.The iron glides fine and has a fairly long cord so good movement of iron but thats where the pros end… water leaked from the filler top. Took an age to heat up to desired temperature. Steam Buttons on top of iron seemed to stick when pressed. Overall was disapointed in the iron

Does the job
Loving this iron like the style of the iron it has a smooth glide when ironing big water tank the only down side is it’s really hard to see the water when your filling it up just a small niggle great steam production and a 3m cord which I really like the handle is nice to hold anti drip anti scale and self clean vertical steam function highly recommend

Great Iron
I’m very happy with my purchase (particularly as there was 30% off with a promo code). The soleplate glides effortlessly over the clothes, making light work of the ironing. The only downside to this iron is the water fill compartment because it’s almost impossible to see where you’ve filled it to as it’s such a dark colour - bad design feature!
