I would definitely recommend this blender to others as it has been a game changer for me. Previously I used other branded blenders to make cocktails and smoothies but they were so small and it always meant I had to make a few batches at a time. The size of this blender is perfect and enables me to make multiple drinks at once. I recently hosted a night for friends at my house and was able to blend up cocktails for all of them using ice and various drinks they were delicious with a frothy foam on top. This blender is easy to use, also you can add fruit or any bits you want from the lid with the easy access slots. I would say this is great value for money, does just what I needed and I am looking forward to blending many more cocktails at Christmas when I’m hosting a big party.
“Blender Didn’t Work From First Use – Very Disappo
I will be contacting Argos later regarding the blender I purchased. Since the day I bought it, the blender has never worked properly. I tried to use it once, but it did not turn on or function at all. Because of this, I honestly do not know what is wrong with it.
I am very disappointed with this product, especially as it did not work from the first use. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this blender to anyone.
I am also unsure whether I will be able to exchange it because I did not purchase insurance. However, I plan to leave a negative review because my experience with the product and the customer service has been very poor. Overall, this has been a very frustrating experience.
Does what it says on the tin!
I bought this to replace the Kenwood goblet part of my wifes' mixer because Kenwood no longer make the goblets which is a shame because they were excellent and we have used it for years.......only time will be the judge of this appliance. Meanwhile this one does what it should do efficiently if noisily. It is easy to clean with the bottom bit unscrewing off, must remember to replace the washer/seal afterwards but the top has two access points to enable addins. Not sure if one of a reasonable size in the middle wouldn't be better. The internal configuration of the lid makes it fiddly to clean and dry, but hey ho! It works and you get what you pay for.
Brilliant blender!
The blender was super simple to set up and use and I found it plenty powerful enough to make light work of whipping up some delicious smooth milkshakes for the family. The jug capacity is generous and the lid has a very secure fit (essential!) so there was zero spillage. I also found the top-up feature really useful for adding in extra liquid gradually as needed without having to remove the whole lid each time. It was so quick and easy to clean after use too, as it simply seperates into 3 parts to hand wash. I was pleased with the length of the cable too.
Does the job but fiddly
This is a reasonable basic old-school blender at a low price. I use it to blend my own skin creams from natural ingredients and this does the job perfectly. It blended heavy unprocessed shea butter at room temperature and if it did a good job. Lining up the jug to the base is a bit fiddly & the lid is not the best fit. I had to keep my hand on it to stop it lifting while blending! Not sure if this is just my model or fault. I would have prefered a glass jug, but you get what you pay for.

The blender has a large capacity. Ive only used for smothies using fruits, but blends really fast, it gets through frozen fruits real easy. It has 3 modes, pulse, speed 1 and speed 2. The blade area simply unscrews effortlessly from the jug area which makes for really easy cleaning. The lid has openings to which you can add extra product easily and mess free. The power cord is easily put away underneath the blender with a wrap around slot for easy storage.
Great blender!
My first thoughts were the jug looked a little on the cheap side. But after setting it up and using it to make a iced coffee I must admit it makes amazing iced coffees it blends the ice perfectly by using the pulse setting then i popped it on to the 1st setting for a minute or two. Overall it does exactly what it says on the packaging and is really easy to take apart and wash. Theres also a place uderneath the base to store the cord too!
Perfect for a big family
Fab size, big enough for a family and grinds apples and nuts very well. Tested a few times with different things excellent at smoothies. The blade is quite powerful and the whole jug is easy to clean after use. Simple enough to use, the lid has a handy pouring spout. The only thing is that its made out of plastic and doesn't feel strong enough so you have to be a bit gentle while using/washing.
Very easy to use
Easy to use and great price! I haven't owned a blender in years but when this came up, I thought I'd give it a go. It is incredibly self-explanatory with just a few effective settings to choose from. I was worried the colour may stain but it doesn't as long as you clean it on the day of use.
I have made all sorts in here and haven't had it clog or jam as of yet, so hoping it has a long life.
Really disappointed
The cap doesn’t “click” you have to “push it in” that’s all, I don’t like it. The whole recipient have to go on the gap make for it and that’s all, I don’t even tried to plug in, was so disappointed by the design, the quality looking so poor, my old one was a first price from Currys and I was more happy with. Didn’t except that quality, this functioning from Russel Hobbs.
Very pleased with this purchase
I bought this smoothly maker to use at the youth club I run for charity Elmbridge Mencap for a summer activity. It was simple and straightforward to use so all of our members with learning disabilities were able to use it to make their own smooothies and milkshakes. It was larger than I had envisaged and I thought it was a very good size, easy to use and easy to clean.
Great blender
This blender does everything you need for a jug blender, its great for making smoothies with 2 speeds and a pulse mode, it looks great on my side and isnt too noisy. My favourite thing is the top up feature for adding extra liquid or ingredients without having to take the lid off. The only reason i didnt give it 5 stars is the lid is quite stiff to get on and off.
Broken already.
I bought it a few weeks ago and it's stopped working already. I need a refund. Extremely disappointed with it. I was only blending milk with egg for an omelette. I give it overall rating of 0 star, but review wont allow that so forced to give 1 star which is a compliment. I would be better off holding a fork with my foot and mixing bowl to mix my omelette 😔 😠 😡

I bought this blender recently and it has been excellent so far. It’s powerful enough to blend smoothies, soups, and ice without any effort. The jug is a good size, easy to clean, and the design looks great in my kitchen. For the price, it’s amazing value and works much better than I expected. I’m really happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it.
Quality blender
This was so easy to put together to set up. We make milkshakes with the machine and its great and cutting and blending anything we have put inside it. The jug removes from the base making it easier to pour out the contents and also clean the jug and store !
That simple to use even my 11 year old manages to make smoothies on her own with it.
Easy to change speeds
Did not expect much for the price despite the brand l like.Fantastic easy to use clean and out back together.Great for disabled as so light too.The sound is bit loud but not on for long and sound kinda helps with pts or anxiety cos you know at the end it good result and sound is perfectly normal and engineeringly flawless.
Quickly brakes, hard to clean the lid inside
I bought it in January 2025. It stop working in March 2025.
I replaced it now with a new one, because of additional insurance I paid for.
It is very good one. The only issue is that the lif inside is hard to clean. Can't reach some angle to wash, so you need something small to wash it like toothbrush or small brush.
Disappointed
I bought this for my elderly mother as she prefers a light-weight jug. The lid is partly made of a flexible type of plastic which can be difficult to put onto the jug.
The jug cracked the first time I used it so I returned it. Overall it seemed quite flimsy in jug and lid though in operation it did the one job.

Got this as a product tester. I must say I'm pleasantly surprised by how easy it is to use, it’s so good. Couldn’t come at a better time really, I wanted my child to eat more fruit and veg, so we’ve been making smoothies in it. And its really ease to clean, it looks little on cheap side. But cant fault it.
