I read the other mixed reviews and decided to take a chance as these Creative speakers were on sale for only £15. I'm glad I bought them because they are fantastic! They're small and don't take up too much space on my desk. The sound is clear and very good quality.
I read reviews of people complaining they are not very loud, but seriously, what do people expect from 20W speakers???
The volume output is more than enough! If you increase the volume to maximum they are quite loud but you'll start to hear distortion; I'll never turn these up to max. I set them to a relatively low level (approximately 1/4 volume) which is sufficient for me during video meetings and when playing a game or two. The volume range is absolutely fine and more than sufficient.
As a side note: If you want truly powerful PC speakers, I bought my son the Logitech Z407 80W 2.1 speakers priced at £120 which are extremely loud and have a very powerful sub-woofer which produces "neighbor disturbing" base ;)
These creative speakers are powered by plugging into one of your PC's USB ports. So make sure you have a free USB port.
For £15 you can't go wrong. They feel solid and well built using good quality materials. Lovel, crisp, natural clear sound whether people are speaking or if listening to music. I highly recommend these speakers!
Surprisingly Good!
I have a pair of Harman/Kardon speakers that I use in my video editing studio but with 3 Mac minis and three 27" monitors space was becoming a little cramped. The Harman/Kardons were not bulky but they were high and the tops were impinging on the monitors.
These Creative Pebbles were lower and would therefore fit better but what did they sound like? I read reviews praising them but I know from experience that what one person thinks is good may be very different from my opinion.
Anyway they were on sale for £18 so I thought I would risk it and I was not disappointed. Are they as good as the Harman/Kardons? Maybe not but they are still very good.
Will they satisfy someone who wants to use them in a noisy disco . . . no!
However, they do deliver a good range of sound from treble to bass and the volume is more than enough for anyone working in a normal room when it's only half way round the dial.
So go ahead and I am sure you will be pleased with your decision.
Speaker set
I recently purchased the Pebble speakers, and I couldn’t be more impressed! Good speakers
These speakers give decent sound quality and volume for the price. They might not satisfy a serious audiophile or someone doing high-quality sound editing, but such a person probably wouldn't consider spending this little on speakers anyway; for the ordinary user they're fine. They're nice and compact and the cables are of adequate length to plug the speakers into my desktop PC (3.5 mm for sound output, USB for power - they don't plug into the mains) and put them on either side of the monitor.
Minor details which don't bother me but may bother some people: they have no headphone socket, so if you want to use headphones you'll have to plug them into the computer itself; and there's no on/off switch separate from the volume control (you turn the speakers off by turning the volume to zero).
Decent value small speakers
These are decent small speakers for the price. They are powered via a USB cable to your device/PC and the sound is linked via a standard 3.5mm connector. They are relatively low powered but for small desk top speakers they work fine (straight out of the box), have a volume control on the right speaker and tuck easily behind a PC monitor. They are not for hi-fi buffs, have only moderately ok bass, but are fine for casual listening. Volume is reasonable. They suited our needs as they took up less space than our old sound set-up, which was what we needed.
Pebble v3 speakers
I got the pebbles v3(Bluetooth). They are slightly louder/bigger speaker circle. But v3 don't come with a 3.5mm adapter wire.
So for 18 quid. They are basically the same, without BT & wired. They are Clear, bassy and immersive.
I use them mainly for gaming and occasional tv.
U can just have them on a low volume and there loud/crystal clear.
Only negative is...I find a remote would be handy but still a fair better option than a £30 soundbar. That's fairly tiny/ecoey compared , in my experience.
Great little speakers and surprisingly loud
Bought these recently so as I can play music on my laptop and jam along with my guitar.
Although I play electric through an amp at bedroom/home volumes, these speakers are loud enough for the job considering they just plug in to the laptops usb and aux ports.
The balance is ok too, the speakers do have some low end and overall don’t sound tinny.
Of course they arent going to match up to a dedicated 2.1 set up or win true audiophiles over, but for what they are I was happily surprised.
Splendid set
Good set of speakers with a passive base reverberator in the back of each meaning your not left with nothing but treble. Powered by built in USB cable so you can plug in to your computer or a USB charger for power and a built in 3.5mm earphone jack for sound from computer, phone or anything else with the right sized audio plug. Volume knob is also the On switch, with a bright green LED light to show it's on even if the sound stops.
Does the job I want them for enhancing a laptop very well.

As a DJ having quality sound and functionality is always a priority. These Creative speakers deliver quality, crisp sound at low frequencies which is ideal as they are powered by USB and can be taken anywhere so I can work whilst mobile.

Small and powerful, great value
These speakers are absolutely amazing. Their 4.4 Watts RMS power sounds like 20 Watts, they're very loud for USB powered speakers. The quality is good and each speaker has an integrated sub woofer on the back which together manage to produce rather impressive bass for their size. I've listened to music on these speakers quite a lot and they don't disappoint. I would highly reccomend these speakers, they are great value, easy to set up and use and provide a quality audio experience.
Decent 2.0ch for your PC
Some of the best pc speakers for the desktop footprint and price I’ve had were Creative T20s. These aren’t quite as punchy but the upside is they don’t require a separate mains adaptor and can be powered off my AOC monitor. The little spherical speakers sound decent for the price although I typically don’t turn them up very loud and they’re used mostly for gaming. I don’t like the gold accent on the cones but other than that, a couple of weeks in, I’m still happy with my purchase.
Look Okay But Sound's Disappointing
Only got these as I was looking for something small & under £20.They look nice, with their round shape & black-gold colour combo. But the sound is very disappointing - the audio sounds muffled, as if you're listening to someone from behind a wall or in another room. Bass is adequate but it seems the tweeter went AWOL. Fortunately I mainly need these for tutorial type videos. I think they'd be okay for movies too, but if you're a music aficionado, definitely look elsewhere.
Good quality speakers for size and price
I needed new speakers for my computer as my old one kept dying. I don't have alot of room on my desk (working from home) and didn't need alot of features. With that criteria, these speakers are perfect. I like that you can turn them off/on and adjust the volume with the twist of a knob. I haven't turned the volume up beyond 50% and they are nice and loud. They were also super easy to connect to the computer and started working straight away.
Creative Pebble USB Speakers
Bought these USB speakers a couple of weeks ago for our desktop PC - they produce a surprisingly good quality sound for their size and they are convenient because of their compact size and the fact that they are USB powered, so they power down when you switch your PC off… The added bonus is that they also look good - If you’re looking for decent speakers for your PC, Laptop or other desktop device, I’d recommend these without hesitation.
Great pair of little speakers for the PC........
I bought these recently to use with my desktop PC, as the new moniter and PC that I purchased about 12 months ago did not have any internal speakers included. Great little speakers, very clear and plenty of volume for listening to YouTube, and watching catch-up TV on BBC iplayer. Reasonably compact so they do not take up much room on my desk either side of the moniter. Great price, good value for money, and glad that I bought them.
Good sound for the price
Pretty decent speakers for the money and run off USB so easy to connect up. They also run off a USB mains adaptor so they will work with any device that has a headphone port on it as the USB cable is just for power. The audio is fed through a stereo jack plug.
The bass cuts off at 100hz so don't expect sub bass. They are quite loud though for the price and sound like they should cost more than they do. They look cool too.
Neat desktop speakers
Used on my desk connected to high spec gaming laptop. Sounds are good for both gaming and music, lacks a bit of bass but for the money quite good. Not super loud but they are small desktop speakers and are loud enough being so close on the desk. They also look excellent with modern styling and take up little space. Connection was super easy. Volume adjustment on speaker is handy for in game alterations. Can't fault them.
Perfect Sound
This is the second one I have bought. It is great value for money and it provids a lovely deep base which is what I was looking for. I didn't take out the product protection on the first one because I had an accident otherwise it would be working fine.
Sometime I think the leads are a little too long Most times it is just perfect if I am cooking as I connect it to my laptop and easily move around the kitchen.
Great sound
Very pleased with these little speakers. The sound id excellent considering their small size. I only needed them for my laptop but they work very well as speakers for my 21 inch TV monitor too. I was also lucky enough to get them in the sale, so money well spent. There is only a limited length between the speakers to put either side of your device but this is not really a problem. I would recommend these.
Excellent for the price
Look and feel far more expensive than they were. Quality solid feel. Sound very good. Being used with a desktop for Zoom and speech radio and occasionally music so more than acceptable. Plug in and play so couldn't be easier to set up. They replaced the budget Trust brand speakers which felt cheap and flimsy. They became very temperamental, cutting out frequently so needed replacing.
