Brilliant sound (after changing settings!)
I was initially unimpressed, until looking at the JBL App, there is a default "power saver" or "boost mode" which severely neuters the capability of the speaker. No bass or mids, just tinny screeching. However, after disabling this mode, the sound quality increased tenfold. Bear this in mind if purchasing! Very good value once the full potential of the speaker was enabled. Super portable, easy to connect and great build quality (and IP68 rated). Would recommend!

I purchased this item because it was within my desired budget, and had a "What HiFi" five star review.
I was a little surprised when I received the speaker, because it's only a bit bigger than a packet of cigarettes.
I was very surprised when I used it for the first time. A speaker this price (40 quid), to have this quality of sound is amazing.
It's not the best HiFi that I've ever heard, but for this price it's amazing!!
Perfect for Paddleboarding
I got 2 of these so we could each strap one to the front of our paddle boards and listen to the same music. They work really well, have plenty of volume and clarity for outdoor use and I really like the options to either create a stereo pair or have two summed speakers. Sound is rated as 4, based on it being above average sound for such a small speaker.

Really impressed with the output from this little fellow, small, compact and punchy bass. Waterproof aswell. So glad I bought it. You can link with another unit and have stereo sound although I only bought the one. Really simple to connect and not overly fussy in terms of fancy features, just good sound. GO 4 Portable
Bought this for the shower as it's waterproof. Plays clearly and loudly if you need it, without distortion. Very robust. You could probably bounce it off a wall without fear of damage. This will be great for travel, like for use in a hotel room while getting ready to go out and probably even the beach. Quality product.
Great bass and volume
I bought this almost a week ago and it has been amazing. I can hear this all the way from the bar to the kitchen at work and it’s magnificent. Especially when I play dnb I have customers heads bopping. There’s times when my boss has to come tell me to turn it down cause it’s loud sometimes

I bought this speaker to carry around on holiday, because it is small, light and wasn’t expensive. The surprise is that it manages to sound far better than you would expect for the size and what it costs. It even feels well made like a premium product. You couldn’t ask for more.

So small and portable but such great sound
Had an old JBL that was losing the ability to hold a charge and though now is the time for a new unit. Bit sceptical as it's so small (compared to the old one) but it easily performs as well and you can use the JBL APP to alter the sound too if you like.
Looks great - bought as gift
Bought this as a present so can only comment on quality look of product (hence the 3 stars on the other ratings) Good price and hoping it goes down well with teenagers. Am reliably informed by the younger generation that this is a good make of speaker.

I bought this JBL speaker for holiday I charged before I left England and a week later the battery is still going, fantastic sound. Good size easy to carry in case and take any where, it’s an upgrade free my son’s JBL speaker, I love it.
