Bought these as a replacement from Argos for my Turtle Beach headset .
Honestly these are a really good replacement and definitely a much cheaper alternative to brands like Turtle Beach if you’re looking for more affordable but good quality gaming headphones especially ones that won’t break one day out of the blue.
Extremely easy to connect atleast for me, sound and mic quality is good for the £70 ish price and they feel very comfortable to wear. They have a good battery life and through several 5+ hour long gaming sessions on days off not once have I had any issues with them. 👍
Only real gripes are:
1– The mic feeling somewhat cheap due to being made of a more flimsy material and being initially separate from the headset itself; although this atleast allows you to be able to move the mic aside for added comfort and convenience if you need a quick drink or the like in the middle of your gaming— and again the quality from what I’ve heard atleast mic wise is good. Overall a small nitpick and something I noticed compared to turtle beach which had a set pre-built in mic.
2- The gamepass card is deceptive. I’m unsure if the brand originates from the US— you DO receive a gamepass ultimate card for a month which was admittedly an extra incentive for my choice of purchasing this headset in particular HOWEVER: despite being sold in the UK and purchased in the UK the code on the card simply doesn’t work. I’ve tried multiple times on my console and on the Microsoft page to redeem it and everytime I simply received an error message. Not anything saying that the code was invalid or already redeemed but simply that something went wrong. Turns out it’s not because the code is expired or that it’s already been redeemed: the bloody bottom of the card in tiny fine print says USA. And because of how the cards for redeeming codes are region locked I physically can’t get the promised gamepass which was a let down and atleast to me seems somewhat deceptive.
Overall would I recommend this headset especially over bigger brands like turtle beach which can cost you an arm and a leg ? Yes. It’s definitely worth it more so than those bigger names I’d argue: just don’t expect to get the additional month of gamepass advertised.
5 Star Headset from JBL
Once unboxed they look and feel like a premium headset. The weight is not overbearing, the adjustments solid, and the fitting comfortable. Although I've only used them for around 30 hours I can imagine long gaming sessions in comfort, or chillaxing to my favourite tunez a pleasure in these. No pain in the bone of the ear after 5 hours wear. Sound insulation is more than adequate and the green Xbox tones are not at all overpowering. Turn them on and you are greeted with a couple of beat tones to let you know, a white LED, and a noticeable click of the button. The power button slides for new Bluetooth connection, flashes blue, followed by "Connected" being spoken.
The microphone is removable when listening to music. It also has a boom cover which made a noticeable difference to my friends experience in Co-Op games. The mike bends to the best position for the wearer. This XBOX version has a dongle. This allows for Bluetooth and PC connections. Best of all I was able to take a mobile call while playing a PS5 game. Battery life was easily 20+ hours. Charging is via the included USB C cable. Charging for 15 mins from empty gave me 2 hours playtime. I could have used then in wired mode also.
In terms of sound these excel in Bass, and Treble with more than aceptable midrange. Overall nothing I played sounded bad. These compared really well to my £300 headset. Can't recommend them enough.
Volume fader adjustment for increasing voice or game sounds in game is ingenious. I didn't install the PC sound equaliser software, but will be doing so.
Discord certified chat functionality will also be tested on my PC.
All in all, nothing to fault. An absolutely brilliant Wireless headset from the JBL brand leader.
Shocking service
Ok , We purchased these headphones through the app and collected them from our local store in December for a Christmas present ,We also as a precaution added the insurance plan (just in case )
Unfortunately the headphones weren’t working properly. Something wrong with the connection / Dongle so they needed to be exchanged.
Sadly there was no replacement in stock at any of our local stores when we contacted them, Lucky a few weeks later they are back stock so we ordered a replacement to be collected in store..
This is the Disappointing part!
The price had gone up on the headphones and also the insurance plan had increased in price.
So when we went to do the exchange we was told to pay an extra £11:30 or the insurance policy would be cancelled/ refunded. Can someone please explain why we needed to pay the extra money for this insurance increase even though it was a faulty item/ gift and listed under the January 30 day policy..
Amazing bass!
These are much lighter than I expected. They fit comfortably over the ears and adjust to fit over my head. Easily identified L&R which I found useful with my old eyes! Automatically connected to the provided dongle and I fired up Starfield for a good test. The sound was amazing. I was hearing things I hadn’t noticed through tv speakers and the sound was directional too. The bass is insane! The mic is detachable so doesn’t get in the way if you don’t need it. Easily accessible volume and mute controls.
Very impressed with this headset, my first wireless one, and look forward to using this more.
Wireless Xbox headset
JBL Quantum 360X Wireless headset is well built charges quickly fully charged in 2 hours and can enjoy many hour of use. Compatible with Xbox series , pc and switch. I've tested it on PC and Xbox series s. All works great clear audio and microphone works great too. With pc there is an application to download that give you some adjustments depending on how you using it. I have tested it with the 2.4ghz dongle but it also has Bluetooth compatibility so you could use it with your phone or tablet. This headset has a great compatibility with many devices.
Quality headset with an affordable price
My husband always buys an expensive leading brand headset but after trying these said he cannot recommend them highly enough. The sound quality is crystal clear, there is no lag between the game play and audio and no wires to get in the way. My son, who has sensory issues, also gave these the thumbs up as they are so lightweight. They are very easy to assemble and quick to connect up to the console and they look great. Buy with confidence, they are a very serious contender with the leading brand.

Amazing gaming headset.
This is headset works brilliantly and still looks stylish and is very comfortable to wear.
The wireless aspect means you don't have to deal with wires hanging from your controller and the latency is so good you can't even tell it is wireless with the sound being instant.
The sound quality is very good and fully adjustable with a mutable and detachable mic also.
Battery life is impressive and lasts several hours even off a quick charge.

Not what it said on the tin
I bought this product for my grandson’s birthday. Unfortunately although it said it was compatible with Nintendo Switch. It isn’t (well not fully compatible) the WiFi speakers work but not the audio. He can hear his friends on the games but they cannot hear him. Works 100% on all the other platforms stated but not the Switch. And as this was the reason why I chose the product I am somewhat very disappointed.
Not For Switch
We bought these to use with Nintendo Switch, BUT we didn’t realise they cant be used wireless on Switch. However, they do have a long lead so not too much of a problem. The information on the box states ‘suitable for Switch’ - it would be helpful for Argos to clarify this in their information on the website.
Good quality for the price, bluetooth works well on other equipment, recommended.
Good headphones but could be better
These headphones are very comfortable with clear markings for left and right ears. My favourite feature is that they are wireless and rechargeable without needing batteries. They are a bit fiddly though and often temperamental and it would be have been better if the earpieces folded in for easier transport. They are decent headphones overall but could do with some improvements.

What an amazing headset! Mic quality is brilliant, no crackling or distortion. Sound is perfect, again no crackling or distortion, crystal clear sound. Super comfy and can wear for long periods of time without irritating. Connectivity is strong, no drop outs. Mic is detachable which is a nice touch if you want to wear without the mic. Over all a quality bit of kit!!

Super impressed with this handset, lovely and easy to set up, the ear pads make this a really comfortable wear and lasted a good 4 days gaming. I like that the mic isn't rigid so you can adjust this as necessary and remove it should you wish. Boom in the box too to improve mic quality.

This is a great headset for gaming. Really comfortable to wear and not to heavy. Has great sound. Very easy to connect to console. Also has a usb-c charge point which is great. Love that it doesnt have any cables to get tangle up. I have tried a lot 9f gaming headsets but this is the most comfortable one i have used. Like it so much i bought one for my partner.
Good headphones
Great headphones and works well with the Xbox. Kids love them and enjoy communicating with each other in their rooms. Service from Argos was good. Beware the scam that you get “one month free” of XBox Ultimate as this is strictly for America and not UK - my only gripe about the product.

Wow these are next level amazing. So well made, so easy to set up, so many different ways to use them from usb, Bluetooth and plug in. I love the slick look and they work so well I couldn’t hear all the noise in the background. The surround sound was quality.

They're ok bit expensive for the build quality I'd say 40 pounds max they ok for normal gaming but for competitive shooting games I wouldn't recommend footstep audio is terrible and the base picks up on explosions and airstrikes more than anything

Great set of starter headphones
They are comfy over my ears and the material is soft. I can sit with them on my head for a while without it hurting. They are easy to set up and connect with the console. Charging is easy and they charge up to 100% quickly.

Sound quality, functionality and wide compatibility are all very good. They feel very plasticy though and so I'm not sure how well they'll last. Set up was also not the easiest, not very intuitive or well explained
